Associate Cyber Security Analyst/Engineer

Bruker Nano, one of Bruker’s four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.

• Monitor the organization’s computer networks and systems to identify any violations and breaches and to ensure mitigation actions are taken.
• Responsible for the operation and the continual improvement of a global Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM).
• React to incidents as part of the incident response team. Support the continues improvement by investigating root causes and recommending preventive measures
• Participate as a part of the Global Information Security Team and be accountable for Information Security initiatives.
• Recommend and implement IT Polices/Standard/Processes for the company, including putting in place an effective IT support structure and procedure.
• Ensure software and hardware are aligned with corporate enterprise solution, making effective use of Corporate Solution to deliver best business value.
• Prepare and participate in annual IT auditing and SOX compliance exercise.
• Responsible for installing and utilizing software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to help protect the company’s data and sensitive information.
• Prepare and create regular reports to document any process implementation, improvements made, and security breaches.
• Train and inform users to raise the awareness for Cyber Security threats.

Education/Certification and Work Experience

• • Educated to Degree level in a Computer Science subject or related equivalent.
  • Professional certification (ITIL, CISM, MS Azure Administrator) Preferred.
  • Detailed Knowledge about at least one Information Security Framework (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST 800)
  • Proven knowledge of SIEM Systems and monitoring solutions
  • Hands-on experience in managing LAN/WAN Environment, network configuration and administration. Knowledge based on CISCO switching/firewall and Checkpoint Firewall is a plus.
  • Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and planning skills with strong leadership traits.
  • Proactive, organized, resourceful person with ability to provide quick resolution to problem and advice.

• Knowledge of Cisco hardware and Firewall concept.
• Knowledge about Checkpoint Firewalls
• Knowledge of backup and business continuity
• Knowledge of switches, routers, VOIP, Security and various network services.
• Excellent administration and reporting.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $61,100.00/yr. and $110,000.00/yr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
