We are seeking an IT Security Analyst to join our global team to
assess and improve the IT security efforts of the Firm.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not
limited to:
- Investigate known and/or suspected security events and related documentation.
- Identify security risks and improve mitigation controls aligning
with ISO 27001 standard.
- Assist in response preparation for external security questionnaires.
- Function as a security technical advisor for Firm IT initiatives.
- Serve as project lead on select security projects.
- Author content for general security awareness training.
- Participate in IT privacy and compliance efforts.
- Refine security incident detection practices.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging security products and technologies.
- Identify, investigate and resolve security issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or a minimum of three
to five years of direct experience in lieu of degree.
- Prior experience in SIEM, alerting, incident detection and
response preferred. Experience with compliance standards and
security best practices (ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, DISA, STIGs and/or
PCI) a plus.
- The ability to prioritize their work, work calmly under (perhaps)
stressful conditions.
- Verbal communication over telephone and the ability to work
through others in a remote location are important.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year,
depending on skills and experience. We offer excellent benefits,
