The Cybersecurity Analyst II role within the Information Technology Services (ITS) Department offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with certifications, academic training, or hands-on experience in cybersecurity or for seasoned IT professionals with a strong background in supporting security initiatives.
In this role, you'll join a skilled and collaborative team of Information Technology experts committed to protecting the county's digital infrastructure. You'll play a vital part in working alongside the Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to detect and investigate security incidents, analyze threats, and provide actionable recommendations to minimize risk, while also taking ownership of two critical platforms.
The primary role of this position is documenting, communicating, and educating the County's workforce on security best practices. On any given day, the Cybersecurity Analyst II will perform the following duties:
