Remote-Eastern Standard Time or Central Time

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST

Position Summary:

The Associate Information Security Analyst within CSC’s Customer Security Strategy team is responsible for promptly responding to client inquiries related to information security. The Security Analyst is expected to effectively communicate CSC’s security controls and be the voice of the customer if risks are identified. The position requires both an understanding of CSC’s services and products as well as information security concepts and CSC’s implemented controls.

Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Respond to client inquiries and client audits related to information security.
  • Assist in building out knowledgebase across multiple product lines and business units.
  • Periodically confirm the accuracy of knowledgebase and any technology or policy enhancements.
  • Develop trust portal and marketing content related to information security.
  • Become subject matter expert within product lines and business units.
  • Build relationships with global teams across Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Compliance, IT and Legal.
  • Define and publish quantitative and qualitative metrics to assess the success of the program.
  • Assist in vulnerability remediation and tracking.
  • Interface between sales and technology leaders to articulate risk and be the voice of the customer.
  • May oversee some application-level penetration tests.

What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need?

  • Prior experience within Information Technology or Information Security field preferred
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, and ability to manage complex security requirements.
  • Self-motivated, directed and well-organized, with the ability to see projects through to closure.
  • Highly trustworthy; leads by example.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent industry experience
